New Markets Venture Partners general partner Frank Bonsal III says investors and technologists are taking a close look at ed tech. And the DC-Baltimore region is becoming a hot bed for these, with Blackboard leading the way when it launched in 1997. Frank’s Baltimore VC firm is partly focused on education deals and has several in its portfolio including Moodlerooms. Glen adds that others making noise are Thinkingstorm, Learn Zillion, and TalkChalk.
