The Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) is proud to offer ALPHAConnect, a collaborative program aimed at bringing the promising technologies being developed at member universities, Federal laboratories and non-profits to the attention of early-stage venture capitalists and entrepreneurs.

Solicitation for Technologies - A Call for Innovations

MAVA and its partners are seeking nominations for technologies to be presented at ALPHAConnect Vanguard breakfasts throughout the year. An ALPHAConnect Selection Committee comprised of early-stage venture MAVA members will review nominated technologies.

At this time we are also searching for exhibitors for the Innovation Showcase. For questions about participating and to submit your technology, contact: Suzanne Coffin suzanne@mava.org 703-506-9300

Exhibit Topics Include:

  • IT and Info Security - VOIP, Internet safe computing, Quality of Service
  • Homeland Security and Defense - Sensors, biometrics and modeling
  • Semiconductor and Nanotechnology - dielectric materials and nanotech superconductors
  • Health and Medical technologies - medical image registration, improved cancer treatment and pandemic modeling
  • Environmental/Clean/Green technologies - remote power and biofuels
