Data startup raises $28.2 million led by New Enterprise Associates
Enigma, a data and analytics company, announced the close of a $28.2 million funding round led by New Enterprise Associates. The Series B funding round also included Two Sigma Ventures and New York City Investment Fund in addition to existing investors American Express Ventures, Comcast Ventures and The New York Times Company NYT, +0.00% Enigma is a platform that allows companies to manage their own data and also gives users access to a public data collection. This funding round will be used to expand its products and hire employees. It previously raised a Series A funding round of $4.5 million.
