If you’ve ever had a picture or diploma framed, you know the sticker shock that comes along with the bill.
That was the inspiration behind Framebridge, a Lanham-based Web-framing startup launched by Revolution Health and Living Social alum Susan Tynan.
Framebridge had been growing rapidly and raising funds since its official August debut. Now, the Washington Post reports the company will announce a $2.5 million funding round, being led by Revolution Ventures and New Enterprise Associates. That brings the total raised to $3.75 million.
The new funds will enable Framebridge to continue expanding, both by adding to its current staff of 15 as well as tripling its existing 3,800-square-foot space, the Post reports.
