John Czupak serves as President and CEO of ThreatQuotient, where he drives the company’s global expansion and manages financial growth. Mr. Czupak has played a critical role in multiple companies that resulted in successful liquidity events. Prior to ThreatQuotient, he served as General Manager for Cisco Systems’ Advanced Malware Protection (“FireAMP”) product line following its $2.7 billion acquisition of Sourcefire, Inc.
Mr. Czupak served in a number of additional roles during his 12-year career at Sourcefire, including Senior Vice President, Corporate and Business Development, General Manager FireAMP and Senior Vice President, International & Business Development. Before Sourcefire, Mr. Czupak was the SVP of Worldwide Sales for Mountain Wave, Inc., which was acquired by Symantec Corporation in July of 2002. Prior to Mountain Wave, Mr. Czupak was the Vice President of Worldwide Channels for Riverbed Technologies, a leader in mobile and wireless computing.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Czupak was an original member of the management team and Vice President of Asia Pacific and Latin America for AXENT Technologies. Mr. Czupak serves as an Advisor and Board member to a number of technology companies, including Sonatype, PFP CyberSecurity and Cybrary.

Before that, she was Vice President at a senior-level consultancy focused on technology policy communications working with clients including Cisco, Consumer Technology Association (formerly CEA) and VeriSign. Her 20+ year career has also included leading high visibility initiatives at the American Red Cross, managing public relations efforts for Internet start-ups in Silicon Valley and managing visibility for investment banking analysts at Chase (formerly Hambrecht & Quist) covering a variety of Internet companies.

Valerie Camillo is the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer for the Washington Nationals. She is responsible for all functions related to revenue generation for the Nationals, including corporate partnerships, licensing, ticket and suite sales, broadcasting, marketing, brand management, retail, food and beverage, and non-baseball events at Nationals Park.
Prior to joining the Nationals, Valerie served as Senior Vice President with the NBA’s Team Marketing and Business Operations (TMBO) group, which acts as a liaison between the league office and the teams of the NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League.
Prior to working with the NBA, Valerie was a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, Virginia and worked for IBM Consulting/PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Camillo grew up in Oakton, Va., and attended James Madison High School in Vienna before earning both her B.S. and MBA from the University of Virginia. Valerie resides in McLean, Virginia with her husband, Lawrence.

Mr. Kurt Rao currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at TEGNA, an innovative media company that serves the greater good of its communities with 47 television stations and 2 radio stations in 39 markets.
Rao is charged with working across TEGNA to drive the development and implementation of the company's next-generation client and customer technology solutions in the areas of content, advertising, data and insights and media distribution.
Previously, Rao was chief information and technology officer for Time Inc., where he led the transformation and growth of the media publishing organization into a digital content platform company. In addition, he optimized technology operations across the organization and built platforms to support content across video and digital while enhancing consumer data analytics.
Prior to joining Time Inc., Rao was an executive at Time Warner Inc., where he most recently served as corporate chief information officer. During his tenure, he helped build and implement a shared, internal services technology organization. Rao has also worked as vice president of technology for NBC Universal and director of application development at Viacom Inc.
Rao received his B.S. in Computer Science from Monmouth University. He currently sits on the advisory boards of several software companies.

David Steinberg has been in the technology business for 38 years. In spite of being that old – he’s tried to keep sharp by working with lots of younger and brighter entrepreneurs. Steinberg began his career in the early days of data networking, then Internet and security, and most recently cloud, mobile, and location-based services. He’s been a founder or on the founding management team of companies like SynOptics (became Bay Networks), Check Point Software, Backup.com - and now is the chairman of a hot DC company; Radius Networks. Along the way, he’s helped many local startups with their fundraising, channel strategies, exits and more. Steinberg is a big believer that the DC technology region is in need of more community building to keep it competitive with the Valley in the west and the Alley to the north.
Steinberg is actively advising many young companies and is a director on the boards of Costar (CSGP), The Wireless Registry, renewable energy finance company Sol Systems, and SaaS product management company Pendo.io. He is also a member of the advisory board of the venture capital firm Core Capital Partners and a member of the Board of Directors of MAVA (Mid Atlantic Venture Association).
Steinberg is also a trustee of the SEED School of Washington, DC.

Luisa Sucre is an Analyst at Revolution Growth where she focuses on investments in the consumer, fintech and healthtech sectors.
Prior to joining Revolution, Luisa was an Investment Analyst at GCM Grosvenor on the Private Markets team based in New York City. While at GCM, Luisa worked on co-investments and fund investments across various focus areas including infrastructure, venture, middle-market buyout and special situations.
Luisa graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. She is on the board of the Synergist Network, a leadership group for women in investment banking, private equity and venture capital. She is also on the Venture Challenge Committee for Vinetta Project’s D.C. Chapter. Luisa was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela.
Julia Taxin is a Vice President at Grotech Ventures. Julia brings over 10 years of experience in venture capital, finance, and consulting to Grotech Ventures. Prior to joining Grotech, she spent time at Sandbox Industries focused on evaluating new investment opportunities and working with portfolio companies and management teams on growth strategies. She began her career as a IT consultant at PwC in Chicago where she focused on Oracle implementations and supply chain optimization.
Julia currently serves on the board at Airside Mobile and ChurnZero. She also holds board observer roles at Ceros, Cloud Elements, Contactually and Optoro among others. Julia is a member of the Venture Committee at Vinetta DC and previously served as an investment advisory board member of CIT GAP Funds from 2013-2016.

Rik Vandevenne joined River Cities in 2004 to focus on information technology and healthcare investment opportunities.
