David Steinberg has been in the technology business for 38 years. In spite of being that old – he’s tried to keep sharp by working with lots of younger and brighter entrepreneurs. Steinberg began his career in the early days of data networking, then Internet and security, and most recently cloud, mobile, and location-based services. He’s been a founder or on the founding management team of companies like SynOptics (became Bay Networks), Check Point Software, Backup.com – and now is the chairman of a hot DC company; Radius Networks. Along the way, he’s helped many local startups with their fundraising, channel strategies, exits and more.
